All you need to know about the Local Brewery Loop
When
Please check that all venues are open before commencing the loop.
The best times to do the whole loop in one are: Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturdays from 2pm.
Many venues are also open at other times too! Please check with venues for current opening times.

What
The Local brewery loop is a 3 mile walk connecting four of the best breweries in the area.
Each venue has maps to take away to guide you on your route.
On the back of the map is a loyalty card which you can get stamped at the bar on purchase of your drink in each venue.
Once you have collected all four stamps - show the staff at any venue to receive your ‘I looped the loop’ exclusive button badge!
Why
New to the area? Stuck in the same routine? Fancy trying something new? Or got friends and family visiting?
This is the perfect way to see the sites, have fun, try a new place and best of all support our wonderful local businesses!
How
You can start and end the loop in any of the four participating breweries, just pick up a map in any venue.
You can either complete on the same day or at your leisure. Get a stamp when purchasing your drink at the bar for a badge! (any drink, though try the beer, its delicious!)
Who
The four breweries taking part are;
Southey Brewing Co.: 21 Southey street, Penge, SE20 7JD.
You can find the Southey Taproom by walk up Penge High Street from Clock House, just past Superdrug on the Right is Southey Street, head down there, the take the first right down an alleyway - you’ll see a large Victorian building with the logo on the side.
Ignition Brewery: 44a SYDENHAM road, SE26 5QX
The Ignition taproom is situated on the ground floor of the Sydenham Centre building on Sydenham Road. The entrance is right next door to the Post Office.
Three Hounds Beer Co.: 57 Beckenham Road, BR3 4PR
Three Hounds is on the main road in Clock House, metres from Clock house station. Head East (towards Beckenham) on Clock House Rd. Three Hounds will be on your right. Between ‘Jerk Garden’ and ‘Love My Hound’.
BR3WERY: 253 Beckenham Road, BR3 4RP
You’ll find Br3wery on Beckenham Road between Penge and Clock House. As you approach from Penge, just past Birkbeck Road on your right is a row of shops. Br3wery is in the middle, next door to ‘El Molino’. You’ll see the big white umbrella outside.

You can start the loop in any of the participating venue convenient to you and at any time (opening times permitting!)
Nearest stations are; Sydenham station for Ignition Brewery (Overground and Rail). Penge East station for Southey Brewery (Rail from London Victoria). Kent House or Clock House stations for BR3WERY and Three Hounds (Rail from London Victoria or Charing Cross).
Many local buses also serve the loop. Including the 227 which runs along Beckenham Road into Penge.
